You don't need to build an entire reception playlist unless you want to. Give us the songs and styles that matter to you, and let your DJ use that direction to read the room, take your guests on a musical journey, and keep the dance floor moving.

Absolutely—if you want us to! Guest requests can be a great way to keep everyone involved in the celebration, but you always have the final say. We'll respect your music preferences and do-not-play list, and your DJ will use their judgment to make sure requests fit the moment and the atmosphere you're trying to create.

Great wedding receptions don't happen by accident. Before your wedding, we'll work with you to plan the important moments of your reception, including introductions, special dances, speeches and toasts, announcements, music preferences, and other key moments.
We'll also coordinate with your venue, wedding planner, photographer, and other vendors as needed to help keep everything running smoothly. You get to enjoy your wedding—we'll worry about what's supposed to happen next.

Yes! Ceremony audio is available starting at $300 and can include a dedicated sound system, ceremony music playback, wireless microphone coverage, and professional operation throughout the ceremony.
If your ceremony and reception are at the same venue, adding ceremony coverage is usually simple. Ceremonies at a separate location are available as well and are quoted based on the location, schedule, equipment, and additional setup required.

Having too much fun to stop? If your venue allows it and your Vibe 42 team is available to stay, you can extend the celebration even if the additional time wasn't included in your original contract.
Additional DJ reception coverage starts at $200 per hour. Packages involving additional staff or services may have different extension rates.

Absolutely! Vibe 42 serves weddings throughout Chicagoland and the surrounding region, and we're happy to travel farther for the right celebration.
Depending on the location and schedule of your wedding, additional travel, lodging, or logistical charges may apply. We'll discuss any applicable travel costs with you upfront when preparing your quote—no surprise travel charges later.

Yes. Vibe 42 carries business liability insurance, and a Certificate of Insurance can be provided to your venue when required.
